Launch Your Journey into Optometry with New Vision Optometry

The Pre-Optometry Internship Program at New Vision Optometry is designed for aspiring optometrists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through eye care. This program offers far more than traditional shadowing, it provides an immersive learning experience within a modern, full-scope medical optometry practice, allowing students to develop clinical skills, gain firsthand patient care experience, and discover what it truly means to serve as a primary eye care provider.

At New Vision Optometry, we believe that great eye care begins with education, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning. As an intern, you'll observe how optometrists diagnose, treat, and co-manage a wide range of ocular diseases while building lasting relationships with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Whether it's helping someone see clearly for the first time, preserving vision through early disease detection, or fitting specialty contact lenses that improve quality of life, you'll witness the impact that comprehensive eye care can have every day.

Our team is equally passionate about investing in the future of the profession. We believe that mentorship is one of the greatest ways to preserve and advance private practice optometry. Through this internship, you'll receive guidance from experienced doctors and staff who are committed to helping you grow both personally and professionally as you prepare for optometry school.
