Leads the practice's myopia management program for children, from a first exam at six months through orthokeratology, MiSight lenses and atropine drops, and fits specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas.
Runs the practice's dry eye program and its aesthetic treatments, and is certified in therapeutic optometry and glaucoma management. Fluent in Spanish.
Fits scleral lenses and hard-to-fit contact lenses for keratoconus and irregular corneas, alongside comprehensive eye exams and the management of ocular disease, with a strong emphasis on explaining it.
Care here is available in English, Spanish, Armenian and Vietnamese.
All our doctors are California TLG-certified, providing the full scope of optometric medical eye care, including glaucoma management and lacrimal procedures.

Dr. Nguyen takes optometry students from Marshall Ketchum University and Western University across the border to the DIF hospital. They leave at 4 am and meet at the Mexican border at 7 am.
Over ten mission trips to countries including Haiti, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, alongside local clinics serving low income communities. He is a member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Of all of these trips, Tecate is his favorite, because everyone is given brand new custom glasses rather than recycled prescriptions, and because cataract surgery is provided free.

College students who intend to become optometrists and want more than shadowing. The practice describes it as an immersive learning experience inside a modern, full scope medical optometry practice.
A commitment of six to twelve months, and eight hours a week, taken either as one full day or as two half days.
Whether you need to see a cataract, LASIK, glaucoma, retina or pediatric ophthalmologist, they will refer you to the same doctor they would refer their own family member to.
