Myopia management and specialty lenses
Dr. Nguyen leads myopia management at New Vision Optometry. He fits specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas, including corneas that have had a graft, and he works with pediatric patients, seeing children as young as six months old.
His goal is to change lives by diagnosing and treating vision issues, particularly in children who are misdiagnosed with learning disabilities because of vision problems nobody has corrected.
He is an advocate for global eye care and has taken part in more than ten mission trips, to countries including Haiti, the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, as well as local clinics serving low income communities.
